Brookfield Reads has been one of the initiatives of the Academic Ways and Means Committee.

The Academic Ways and Means Committee (or W.A.M.) is a group of teachers from various departments who advise the Principal and teaching staff on key issues related to academic success.  It considers and promotes initiatives to reinforce effective teaching and student follow through in areas such as academic honesty, reading and study skills. Parents or students who wish to bring concerns or suggestions to  the attention of the committee are invited to forward them to the Principal or a Vice-Principal.
